I have owned dogs since I got married in 1962 , I did not get my 1st Stafford until 1975 .
I was very fortunate to live 1 mile from a person who I considered to be one of the best dog men ever that was, the late Bob Salisbury whose breeding was known as the Yorkshire line so I have seen Stafford’s in our village from a very young age. When bob passed away I was left all his pedigrees, photos and his old books on Stafford’s and breeding, he was my friend for many years.

I have a small select kennel that is to say I usually only breed when I require something myself.

I started showing in 1975 and did very well with my first dog winning many awards with 1rcc
His name was (BRINDLES LORD) I lost him in 1986.

BRYSTAFF Black Diamond, BRYSTAFF Royal Avenger, BRYSTAFF Rose Ryal, not forgetting her son and daughter, that are campaigning now (Ch BRYSTAFF SIMPLY THE BEST) 5 cc with best of breed),

His sister (Ch BRYSTAFF MINDERN ROSE OF OBMARSTAFF) 5cc 4 with best of breed made up at CRUFTS 1996 with Best of Breed.
I was TOP BREEDER for 1997 with BRYSTAFF Rose Ryal.
Other than just showing Stafford’s my interest is collecting Stafford memorabilia i.e. old pedigrees, books, & photos, this is how it came about having THE STAFFORDSHIRE BULLTERRIER BOOK OF CHAMPIONS PUBLISHED, and I update this every year.
I served as a committee member of the Northern counties SBT club from 1976 to 1996,
Positions held news letter and annual 3 years, Treasurer 1 year, started the handling classes
and run them for 8 years, my last 5 years as president retired of committee 1996.

Oltre ad esporre Stafford il mio interesse è anche il raccogliere cimeli dello Stafford e pedigree storici, libri, e foto, questo mi ha portato a pubblicare THE STAFFORDSHIRE BULLTERRIER BOOK OF CHAMPIONS PUBLISHED, che aggiorno ogni anno.
Sono stato membro del Northern counties SBT club dal 1976 al 1996,
Ho ricoperto gli incarichi di news letter and annual per un anno, tesoriere per 1 anno, ho iniziato le handling classes
e le ho portate avanti per 8 anni, i miei ultimi 5 anni come presidenteemerito del comitato.

Linea con i suoi anni di attività sulle spalle leggo

ebè che dire... è un affisso sicuramente conosciuto, soprattutto grazie ad esponenti come Ch Brystaff Simply The Best (che possiamo annoverare anche in qualche ped italiano)... noto l' utilizzo di Eastaff Tally's Man e Polynesian Waka Navigator.
Personalmente tra i cani sopra apprezzo Brystaff Rose Ryal
